Kids these days love to play video games. Games are so much more complex these days than the ones that were available when I was a kid. Kids can spend hours playing these games. The PlayStation 3 (commonly abbreviated PS3) is the third home video game console produced by Sony Computer Entertainment and successor to the PlayStation 2 as part of the PlayStation series.

The PS3 was also the first Blu-ray 2.0-compliant Blu-ray player on the market. Currently, PlayStation 3 games are amongst the most popular out there.

One of the unfortunate downsides to the demise of the Sega gaming consoles was the end of many of their homemade titles, particularly their flagship mascot, Sonic the Hedgehog.  Since then, Sega has gone back to developing games for other platforms and to much success; this is proved with one of the best Playstation 3 games, “Sonic the Hedgehog.”

The titular character from the Genesis days returns and in a much-improved form.  In a new adventure, Sonic finds himself in the human world and must encounter new foes and friends to save a princess.

Story-wise, the game isn’t breaking new ground, but with the colorful graphics and slick animation, it’s definitely one of the better PS3 games out there.
