Traumatized For Life
If you’re like me you probably don’t care much about having automotive supplies in your car or around the house. I will admit it—I am a woman, and like many women I don’t know a lot about cars, nor automotive tools. I never thought I needed to learn. I figured my husband would take care of that kind of stuff for me.
I had a rude awakening. Actually, it was more of a life-changing awakening. I was driving to another town to visit a friend and started to run out of gas. I was out in the middle of nowhere so I stopped at the first gas station I saw. But it was closed and I was out of gas. Of course I had no spare gas can in my car. There was nothing I could do but wait for someone to stop and help me. I ended up spending six hours freezing in my car until someone finally stopped. If I would have just carried a little extra gas with me I would have been alright. But I didn’t and now I am traumatized forever.
